Happy Weekend!
So last night I dragged my tired sick behind to the local scrapbook store for a crop....actually started and finished a layout by 10:30 pm....that is HUGE for me!!! You girls would have been so proud of me! I guess I can't claim that it was 100% finished...at the time I thought it was...this morning I changed a few things and added more...you know how it goes!!! I finally did a layout just for me....no DT project...just for me...actually about a bikini!!!
Ran today to a store in the city...picked up the new Wild Asparagus Bohemian stuff....some cute embellishments....didnt buy much of the paper...but did buy some cute embellies! Got a chance to look thru Elsie's new book...love it...can't wait to get my copy...hint hint Sandra ;o) ...I so hope she mailed it the other day!
Got a call from my ex's sister...we spent quite abit of time last summer with her and her family...haven't spoken since...lost numbers......so it was nice to talk to her about what has been going on with the ex...whom has taken this whole thing pretty hard...I hope he learned something from it....I think it is a blessing in disguise if you ask me....it will give him more time to get to know her( Samantha) and for her to adjust emotionally and mentally. She has alot of things to work thru and he needs to work on realizing that this is her life now and he can be a part of it...but it wont be like picking up where he left off so many years ago. He did talk to Paul which needed to be done. I am not quite sure how Paul feels about it. So in a nutshell...I think the time it will take for him to straighten this all out ...is what is needed for everyone...including me...all our lives will change...hopefully in a positive way...and I think for it to work ...time and little steps is what is needed!
So I am now totally exhausted from going out last night....I think I need to take a nap! So...later dudes!!!
