Now that Vancouver has won the chance to host the 2010 Winter Olympics these are some questions people the world over are asking!!!! Believe it or not these questions about Canada were posted on an International Tourism Website (frightening, isn't it!)
Obviously the answers are a joke; but the questions were really asked!!!!!.

Q: I have never seen it warm on Canadian TV, so how do the plants grow? (UK)
A. We import all plants fully grown and then just sit around and watch them die.
Q: Will I be able to see Polar Bears in the street? (USA)
A: Depends on how much you've been drinking.
Q: I want to walk from Vancouver to Toronto-can I follow the Railroad tracks? (Sweden)

A: No, WE don't stink.

A: Yes, gay nightclubs.

A: Only at Thanksgiving.
Q: Are there supermarkets in Toronto and is milk available all year round?(Germany)
A: No, we are a peaceful civilization of Vegan hunter/gathers. Milk is illegal.
Q: I have a question about a famous animal in Canada, but I forget its name. It's a kind of big horse with horns. (USA)
A: It's called a Moose. They are tall and very violent, eating the brains of anyone walking close to them. You can scare them off by spraying yourself with human urine before you go out walking.
Q: Will I be able to speak English most places I go? (USA)
A: Yes, but you will have to learn it first.
Ok....that is just shamefully hilarious!!!!! I hope you enjoyed other peoples stupidity, ignorance or just a lack of knowledge as much as I did!!!!! LOL! :o) EH!

So with my busy schedule and all with my trip to Vegas ( did I tell you how excited I was?), I found some time to spend with a few friends to enjoy a spa party. It was really nice! We had giggle attacks...numerous ones heeheehee, NO... it wasn't you Candice...need some body glue for that swimsuit creep? ;o), I had to face my icky fear of feet, you hush up Daina :o)! YES!! Bare ugly feet everywhere! EEEWWWW! We had to massage our feet(insert icky face here) and put those cool thingys on our eyes, some funky stuff on our lips that hardened and puckered them up. All in all it was fun and
refreshing! My feet did feel nice and smooth....hmmm....surprise...I actually bought some foot scrub. Oh and by the way ...those are not my feet.....FEET ARE SOOOOO DISGUSTINGLY GROSS!!!!! I am seriously gagging right now at this picture! (Insert gaging face here.)

I am so excited about Vegas!!!! That is all I can think about right now!!!!!!!! So I thought
I would tell you again!!! This is a great opportunity , as they call it, HO myself on the floor! I wasn't even going to consider it, but what the heck, this opportunity won't present itself very often. So, of course a last minute decision is going to result in a last minute job! ARRRGGHH...why do I do this to myself!!!! So of course I won't be satisfied with what I am taking which is going to bug me so much!!!!!
Ok..breath!!!!! Did I mention how excited I was??!!! ;o) The count down is on... 3 more sleeps!

Only 5 more days til I leave for
Vegas! I am so EXCITED! I am going to the big Scrapbook Craft and Hobby Expo to help a manufacture with their booth, PageFrames.....going to go rub elbows with some of my favorite Scrapbook celebrities! Yah, go ahead call me a geek!!! I'll admit it! I am going to the Designer Dinner which will be a HOOT! Since we will be down there for my birthday...we are going to go out for some drinks....I think the VOODOO Lounge was one of the picks. They are suppose to have these really funky drinks in goldfish type bowls with dry ice smoking! I'll be a good girl....PROMISE!!! I am there to work ...not play!!! ;o)
As excited as I am, I will be leaving my babies! First time away from Nicholas! That is going to be really hard for me!!!! This will be my first time to
Vegas, wish I was able to share it with Paul.

Hmmmm....rec'd a very interesting email today! A female had requested that I add her to my MSN messanger buddy list. She said that she saw my picture here and thought I was hot! The email goes on about getting to know me better.WOW! Ok...
thank you! I believe to each there own....but I don't play on that side of the fence. I am sure you are great person....you can admire all you want...but..... I am perfectly happy with the opposite sex! So I am going to politely decline and hope you will still enjoy my blog!

Today one of the local newspapers came to interview me again in regards to the petition for the law I am trying to get passed for unborn victims of violence. The interview went well. I haven't done one in about 4 weeks, so it brought back some feelings I had started to bury. They had seen the picture of Baby Lane on my clipboard and had asked to use the picture in their article. I haven't looked at his picture in weeks, I felt very overwhelmed again. Very emotional. I am glad however that the picture will be printed. Unfortunately that is what it may take for people to realize that he was a baby whose choice for life was taken away from him. He was a very viable baby at over 27 weeks. So maybe if people can see for themselves that he was a perfect little baby, they will understand why I am doing this. I am sorry if this offends anyone, but this is reality, this is Baby Lane.

Matthew has this weird obssession with scissors! He cuts everything!!He decided last week to cut his hair! Yes....he cut his hair ...not just once....but 3 times!!! Granted it needed to be cut, I did trim his bangs til we could get to the hairdressers....but he wanted it cut now...and boy did he cut it!!!

Well today I decided to post my smile of the day as an audiolog! I couldn't resist it! They were playing together so nicely. One was on one side of the gate, the other on the otherside...obviously...they were looking thru at each other just laughing. Matthew decided to start counting and playing peek a boo...Nicky's favorite game....with him.... and Nicholas couldn't stop laughing. I thought it would be neat for Grandma to hear it, since she lives in New Jersey. Also a nice way to keep that type of memory to hear at a later date..... a

So today was a day of
NOTHING! The lazy day of the week! I got absolutely nothing done, I worked on another Design Team layout. The first one I did my buddy Sandra didnt like....soooo not my style totally understand why see didn't like it...neither did I. I was suppose to work on my Circle Journal, that didn't happen......sorry Brenna...if it helps I figured out what album and paper I am using. Not sure I will have enough paper though to start...arrghhh........it was a day of ovewhelming feelings and stress...frustration....I felt like exploding today! You would think ....that since it sounds like I had a pretty lazy day....I would be more relaxed! NOPE! Four screaming, fighting, crying,whinny and bored children! Enough to drive anyone batty!!!! I just needed one day alone...no kids ...no husband...noone but me! Does that make me a bad mommy? Just having that thought makes me feel like one. It has been one week since my fall down the stairs.....you would think I should be feeling better....NOPE...actually my back feels much worse! I must of pinched a nerve too.
So what made me smile today? Matthew! Paul came home from work today and Matthew asked him where he was...so Paul answers....."at work and where were you?" Matthew replies " at home!" Just the simplest little answer...it was cute...it made me smile!!!!

Change! What a scary thought...word ...thing!!!! I have difficult with it...in any aspect of my life...good ...bad....neither. I can go as far as having anxiety attacks, especially if I feel like I am losing control of my life. I was thinking about a friend today, who will remain anonymous... but you know who you are, and how much they have changed in the last 6 months. It is actually quite upsetting. They were a much light hearted..not so stiff and with out a shrink hat type of person.The tone, the seriousness in their voice and emails now....just sounds sad. They are always analyzing and explaining things now instead of joking and laughing. Communication is always so serious, it is hard to talk to them anymore. They said I was not the only one who has approached them on this same subject. I think I am slowly losing my friend due to this change, that is very unfortunate and saddens me.When I asked them to tell me one thing that made them smile or laugh today, they couldn't answer me, they had no answer. To me that is sad. They said that they don't smile or laugh at just one thing but many different things but couldn't remember just one moment that stood out. It is the little things in life that are the most valuable to me. I remember what me made me smile today. Nicky......he is getting braver and braver with his creeping around. He creeps around our kitchen cabinets and he thinks he is just the little man!!! Grunting and smiling...laughing at himself....you can't help but smile or laugh with him! He is changing so much...and that scares me...but makes me so proud of him. When I think a year ago...he was still in the NICU.....I welcome this change.What made you smile or laugh today?

That was fun.......hope you enjoy reading it! Today is a quiet day for me, the past three weeks have been so hectic with no school! Glad they are back. Today, no other kids but my Matthew and Nicholas. I took advantage and went and got my passport for the Vegas trip and a little scrapbook shopping in. I need to get all my Design Team stuff done before I go.... I have 4 layouts to do in a week and a half and my circle journal. Yes Brenna....I am working on it this weekend!!!!

Alrighty, the question of the day, week, month, year....what am I doing? Doing with what? I don't know. Everything! Why am I doing this....a blog? What am I doing with my life right now? What I am I doing with my life in the future? I don't know is the only answer I can think of right now.
Is that good enough? Nope.....not for me. I want to know.I want to know everything about myself and my life. This past weekend I started to question everything. That scared me so much that I have started to put up walls. Maybe that is why I am starting this Blog. Maybe I will find the answers thru my own posts.
