Do You Zen?
Ok it must have been a burn out moment! I am feeling much better today! Thanx for all the hugs guys! I am looking forward to a pretty easy week this week...my fulltime kiddie is gone all week!!! YAH!!!!!! I am cleaning my house right now...well not at this very moment...but that is making me feel better. A messy house makes me feel really really really grouchy.
Hubby wanted me to go to Ikea yesterday and spend some money....YAH...SURE...I can do that!!!! So off I went to Ikea...throw the little ones in the playland...off I go for my hour of peaceful shopping...didn't buy to much...nothing really exciting...ok...I lie...the stuff I was waiting for to come in for my scrapbook area...finally came in...so hopefully I can finish this project up this week and be done with it. While we are about to leave, Paul calls me and tells me to go to Best Buy!! What...SURE...what for? He wants an MP3 player....ok...
what got into him??? He wants to spend money...well alright!!!! SO I get there and find two really cool {
PINK} colored ones. So I call him back and ask if I can get a pink one and if he wanted my old one. He says by two of them and give yours to Samantha!!!!!! OMG he has lost it!!! Of course I am smiling from ear to ear!!! So I find out that this little baby is actually better then the IPOD!!!!! The sales guy said he wouldn't touch the IPOD with a 10 foot pole?!?!?!?!? That this

I will only be 10 minutes! Honest!
I am either losing it and getting really depressed or my hormones are really out of whack right now!!! Everything is bothering me...i am crying over everything....just don't care about nothing! This morning was really bad...I am laying in bed thinking to myself how I wish that our refund check would come so I can go do some therapy shopping. I get up...send Samantha to go get the mail....and wouldn't you know it....it came.....SHOPPING TIME!!!!! [INSERT REALLY REALLY REALLY HAPPY SMILIE FACE HERE]!!! So I did just a little bit of shopping...was good...felt guilty about it...so you know I am depressed....guilty of going shopping....something wrong there!!!
Matthew had his party at McDonald's yesterday...they had so much fun! He loved it!
Got my self registered for Scrapfest. I only signed up for Saturday classes as it is Samantha's birthday that weekend. I signed up for Ali's class, a Melissa Francis class and the crop. Should be fun!!!

So not much new in the life of Tammy! Paul's stupid tax return is taking forever! It will be almost 12 weeks, so he called them up today...still processing! WHAT!!!!!!?????? They told him if he doesn't have it back in a month to give them a call! Ya Right!! You will be getting that call ever monday that that refund doesn't get here!!!!! [Insert double pissed off smilie face].

Do you wish to enter?
I can't believe it is Hump Day again already!!! Gotta love a short week!!! The day before the dreaded Hell Thursday! Well Paul comes back from North Carolina tonight! He says that I would love it there...but we ain't moving!!! WHAT...then why are you rubbing it in! GEEEZ! No Donna D in my backyard !! Drats! I had dreams of scrapbooking with Ms. D. herself!
So since I posted a Hottie yesterday I guess we will just say he is my Hump Day Hottie for today! I am soooooooooooo so so excited about Big Brother this summer!!! I wish they would have it twice a year!!!
Oh forgot to say thank you again to Ki for dinner on Monday....it was delicious...THANK YOU!!! Nicky was our entertainment for the evening....our male strippers got lost...so Nicky decided to take their place and did quite well I might add!

Computers.....GRRRRRR!!
Thank god my Paul is a computer GEEK!!! I have had no computer since Saturday morning!!!!! Wouldn't ya know it....Paul leaves for North Carolina and my C Drive goes corrupt on me!!!!!WHAT???? NO COMPUTER til Thursday!!!! I DON"T THINK SO!!!! So I am determined to get this baby up and running...I try ever trick I know....can't get it going.....call Paul..he tells me to go find some disc and tells me what to do....IT WORKS!!! NOT! I got it up and running...well he did...and silly me said no to the disk scan and decided to re-boot right away instead of doing what I needed to do....didn't work! I re-did all the steps again...still wouldn't work...FREAK'N STUPID COMPUTER!!!!! So this morning I am going thru major withdrawals.....MAJOR! SO bad yesterday that I actualy cut the lawn and went food shopping!!!! :o0 So anyways I re-did the steps....did the scan disk check and VOILA!!!! It's running...for now anyway!!! :o) My husband is a genius!
I hope you are all having a wondeful long weekend...I got to sleep in two mornings in a row! :o)
SO today I am going to start my 21 day habit of running....lets see if I can actually stick with it this time!

Welcome to Crazy Town!
What a day today...man I really have gone insane! I was suppose to have one kiddie today! My kids had no school...so it was suppose to be a relaxing day...well my sister calls...can you take Miah...sure....another parent calls...can ya take my three kids today ...sure....another parent calls can you take Eric till 1 am tonight ....ya sure.....OMG.....CRAZY!!!!!! So now that 4 are gone and there are only two left staying the night....I think a drive to the scrapbook store to spend the money I just earned is justified here......I AM THINKING A GREAT BIG YES!!!!! SEE YA!!!!!! :o)

Yes it is back! That dreaded day I call
Hell Thursday! The day that seems to never end. The day I call the
{Attack of The Kiddies
}! Thursday is generally my busiest day of the week for me. Today I hopefully will have two special people coming to visit to add some much needed excitement to my day! So please make every effort to stop by today!!!!!! PLEASE!!!!! Ok enough begging!
So with yesterday's post...this really wasn't directed at anyone....I did get some emails and calls...too funny....I love ya all!!! LOL! Life does change and with that so do relationships. This Mother's Day I was wondering and thinking about some of my dear friends from NJ who now have become acquaintances because of the move back to Canada. I know that if we were to move back that it would probably be like old times....but the fact is ...I am here and they are there. I have one friend who has moved from NJ as well...I only get an email from her when she is pregnant or wants to share her pictures of her daughter with me. These were all people who I cherished and spent everyday of my life with . One of them was there the night I meet Paul and even spent the night in our suite on our wedding night...ya...don't ask... lol...one took care of my children like they were her own....another one I worked with and shared my ups and downs with....but now they are merely a friend turned acquaintance. The older I get the more important it seems to be to keep my friends as friends...and I am not sure as to why! It almost seems harder....the older I seem to get, the more grounded I seem to be with who I am and the less shit I am willing to put up with! Anyone else notice that change as they got older? Ok so enough about that...I truly miss me friends from my other life and hope they know that!
To some of my friends....any and all hiccups in life eventually go away...don't let the hiccups in your life get the best of you!
So on a funnier note.....Yesterday....Nicholas loves to take his diaper off and run around the house in all his bare galore...well wouldn't ya know it...the little bugger pooped on my carpet! WHAT THE HECK! He has problems pooping... he struggles to poop...he pooped in the morning already (he is a one a day pooper)....and here he is pooping... and might I add quite easily at that...on my carpet! Then this morning...he peed on it!!! So I think I am safe to assume that since he has done both... he is done marking his territory in my house! Ok so how many times did I use the word POOP!

HAPPY HUMP DAY!!!!
The last few days I have been looking back and reflecting on the last few weeks or so and there are many things I have learned about myself , my friends, my family and people who are just in my life for what ever reason. People come and go in your life and that is fine, I would rather have one good friend then many acquaintances. I have realized that in the last few weeks people who I thought were acquaintances were truly friends and people who I thought were friends were merely acquaintances.....but you know what...I am ok with that! In fact I am GREAT with that...I am happy I found out......just glad it was sooner then later. People change and so do relationships. It is funny how some "friends" can't accept change with themselves or you without trying to change the relationship. Some friends try to over compensate their insecurities by trying to be everyone's friends....basically you just end up an acquaintance.....a figment of a friendship in the midst of nothing. Not only do I have acquaintances but am considered an acquaintance to others...and that is ok. In the world of online friends....what are you really...a friend or an acquaintance or both? I know I have developed several true friendships from being online....some wonderful wonderful people have come into my life....so have some not so true friends as well....I guess the two worlds do collide eventually. I guess if you are blessed enough to come out with just one...you can consider yourself

Ok ...so I did a layout the other day that fit Mary's whole
{"Embrace the Space"
} thing....I have to tell ya....I am not sure how long it will be before I grab it and junk it up some more. The one corner is bugging me...it needs something....JUNK!!!!!
I actually like the design...I am not a pastel person so the papers weren't inspiring me... I think I will try this in a different color scheme.
I will hopefully be putting my table together today and cleaning up my mess...still have some stuff to work on! I need to hit Michael's again and have no van til friday...time crunch.....arrgghh...I hate having only one car available ....can't wait to get the junker from my mom for Paul to drive!
Yesterday was so beautiful out that I actually got myself a little burn! My nose and shoulders got a little crispy ! It was great to see the kids have fun in the pool! Nicky loved being outside...once you got that diaper off him...that was it...he was all over the place running nuddy in my yard! Today is just as beautiful...another wonderful day ahead of us!!!

Well first I should wish all my Mommy friends a Happy Mother's Day! Sorry for not getting you guys yesterday! I actually got yesterday off....so no way I was staying home if I didnt have to!!!! More about that later!

So totally bummed out...NO Cricut!!!! They were sold out and there is a waiting list...NO FREAK'N way!!!! They don't know when...and when they come in they come in....coupon or no coupon! They wouldn't even honor the coupon !!!!! Well why are you advertising something that you don't have much stock on? If you're going to make a big hoopla about it....make sure you have the stock to back it up! GRRRR....!
So a new scrapbook store opened up in Spruce Grove....pretty good start...damn it ...someone beat me too it! Yah yah ....yours truly had entertained the idea....just didn't do it quick enough....oh well....I guess it wasn't meant to be. Their stuff is pretty good and can only get better! They were selling paper racks because they bought to many....well...bonus for me....NOT ! I bought one...but it is to tall for my space...wont work....again another scrapbook bummer for me!!!!! How many can a girl handle in one day!?! So today it needs to go back!
BONUS!!!!!!!! Yesterday I hit IKEA... I have been needing a side table of sorts that would work in my space since I only have a 4' table.

]....I needed a tall table to actually use as the finishing station...I don't know about you guys...but when I scrapbook, I pull out everything I think will work...throw it on my table....play around with stuff...and then when it is time to put it all together I have no room...totally frustrates me...so anyways...... I have been going back and forth between a longer more expensive one or a smaller cheapier one....well I did go with the cheapier one but think it will work better!So excited to get this baby together!!!

So rubbing Mickey( get your mind out of the gutters ladies) really helped in the LUCK department! First I win the Quickqutz at the retreat and now I won the
Freestyle NSD prize!!!! I never freak'n win anything!!!! So I am so happy that it was Tracy Kyle who was doing the contest draw.....I won a set of Rhonna Farrer acrylic stamps!!!! WOOHOO...can't wait to get those babies!!!
So I have been totally stepping out of my creative box here....I keep going from one style to another........not sure that that is a good thing! In some ways I do in respect to people not getting board with my stuff thinking that every layout looks the same.....but then I think....will some people not recognize my layouts if I keep changing it and not having that "Tammy Signature" that when you look at my layout you will know it is me. I know I know how to work a handmade paper flower...but gosh....does every layout need to have one! I know I am getting into more of a groove now and I am alot closer to knowing what I like and don't like.....it doesn't take me days on days to do a layout anymore....I have simplified my style.....but has it improved? I would like to think so! So the question is, how does one go about finding their signature without their layouts looking the same all the time ?

{I fell asleep last night on the couch at 8:30 pm
}....darn it...I missed the ending to Medium! Did anyone watch Deal or No Deal last night...that gay Italian guy was hilarious! I think he has been the only guy allowed to kiss all the ladies!
So I am at day 9 now of 19 days straight of watching kiddies.......almost half way there...I can do it....I can do it! This scrapbook addiction I have is going to kill me....the things I do to support my habit.....ur....I mean hobby!
I can't believe I did a "go back" on a layout...I swore I would never do that.....man I feel like I cheated!
I filed Paul's taxes the second week of March by mail....still no return cheque! I filed mine late online last week and hopefully should be getting mine on Thursday.....keeping fingers crossed!
Ok so this isn't my favorite layout....love Crate Paper but not my favorite line from them. I was able to make some nice cards from this set though.

OMG........
.....have I got a litle scoop for you...nothing is for certain yet...it was just brought up....so again nothing concrete!!!!! A little birdie told me that their husband brought up the idea of moving his business to Alberta! Why is that a big deal you ask? Well this person is from BC and us Alberta gals felt like she was one of us the moment we met her! That is right.....Michelle's husband is entertaining the thought of a move to Alberta!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG if this comes true......watch out Scrap-A-Lot...you thought we were rowdy and loud before.....HAHA....the crops will never be the same again!!!! LOL! I will be hoping and praying for this one to come true! WOOHOO!
So today was a day of yard work.....argghh.....so was not planning that one...i got to plug the grass full of what Matthew calls the poop holes...almost fell over when he said that! Oh lucky me.
So hopefully I can get to bed earlier tonight and get some much needed sleep.
A great big thank you to all my friends that called or emailed concerned about how insane I am with these kids and checking in on me to make sure I haven't fully lost it yet......you all know who you are...it means more then you know! I promise I am taking care of myself and I will get some ME time soon! Big Hugs to all! ;o)

Well we are now on day 6 of 19 days straight of watching somebody else's kids. I am getting so burnt out right now. So burnt out that I am just mentally, emotionally and physically a mess. I haven't been walking/running....I feel so gross..I have been so stupid and giddy at home.....I have been short and in attack mode with friends.....but it is noone's fault but mine. I need to set my boundaries and just learn to say NO to people! Today I have 3 kids to watch....this is MY weekend to recover from the weeks events! Ok my fault,so why am I whining? Because I want to and I can!
I have learned a few things this week. Friends do come and go quicker then I thought.What I thought was something really wasn't. That you can't trust not only your enemies but your friends who can just be a wolf in sheeps clothing. That watching 10 kids in your home doesn't really help pay the bills it just jeopardizes your sanity.That it is very easy to lose who you are in one conversation. That you can be held prisoner by a position you hold. That despite what others think or feel, that there is someone out there that does appreciate me, my creative side and who and what I am. You are the only person who will ever understand who you are so don't expect anyone else too including your family and friends.There will be people who will assume that this is about them and there is nothing I can do about that.And finally Money is the root of all evil especially if you don't make enough!
Hope you all have a HAPPY SCRAPBOOK day....today is National Scrapbooking Day. I know I wont... watching three kids can kind of put a kink in your scrapbook time....my day will start at 2pm and end at 1am. It will be nice to meet Renee this morning to run out to a local scrapbook store....that will be my scrapbook fix!
So here is to the start of a new day....and a hopefully a better week.

The infamous OOPS layout!
Here is the layout I did using my "
OOPS" from a class by Tia. We were suppose to be making cards, well I decided to staple my ribbon in place....well you guessed it, I stapled my card shut! I was so tired and giddy I was laughing so hard I was crying.Before class Tia had made this quote which soon became fitting for my outcome in her class. Thanx Tia for an awesome class.
Alrighty....just when I thought I heard it all, last night I watched this little guy " Baby Bob" (have you ever met a Baby Bob?) while his Mom and Uncle were going to go to the bar and watch the hockey game, have a few drinks. Well....OK sure....what time will you be picking him up....about midnight.....WOW...ok. Well she calls 45 mins before she should be on her way to my house and tells me that she will be leaving his carseat for me and that she will be calling a Taxi to come pick him up once she gets home from the bar. WHAT!!!!!!!!!!! So I am trying not to think of the worst and that she meant she would be picking him up in a cab. NOPE!!!!!!! She continued to tell me that the carseat was really easy to install and that I should have no problems with it. OMG.....Please tell me I did not just hear this! There is no way I was putting a 8 month old baby in a Taxi by himself. So I offered to drive him home at 12:15 am!!!!! A 15 min drive each way......never in my days would I ever think of sending my child in a cab by themselves...not even at 12 years old!!!!!

OMG...I have found the answer to a question that has been lurking around for awhile....can you believe I found the answer! Well this little thing comes in a huge variety to meet everybody, anybody or anythings needs and desires. There is the Average Joe,OLD FAITHFUL,J-E-L-L-O,Kobe Bryant, the NEVER ENDING adventure , The Hoola Hoop a Fruit Loop,Lazy Man and the Bill Gates ! Also you wont want to forget your pump or your desensitizer, total must haves for the proper outcome!
Well after this post......I have nothing more to say other then....IT AIN'T GOING TO HAPPEN IN MY BACKYARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
